Terms and conditions

This is a translation of our Dutch terms and conditions. If the two versions differ, the Dutch version prevails.

1. Who we are

Trace of Faith (eenmanszaak), established at [Straat en huisnummer], [Postcode] [Plaats], Nederland, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42202868. Email: info@trace-of-faith.nl.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to every offer and every agreement made through our website. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

3. Offer and prices

All prices are in euros and include any applicable VAT. On top of that you pay shipping once per order: Netherlands €4.95; Belgium and Luxembourg €5.95. You see the total amount, including shipping, before you pay. Obvious errors in the offer do not bind us. Prices may change; the price at the time of ordering applies.

4. Ordering and payment

An agreement is concluded as soon as your payment via Stripe (iDEAL, Bancontact or card) has been confirmed. You receive an order confirmation by email. We have no access to your payment details.

5. Production and delivery

Our products are made to order and shipped directly to you. We keep no stock. The indicative delivery time is Netherlands 5–9 working days; Belgium and Luxembourg 6–12 working days. Delivery times are indicative; exceeding them does not entitle you to compensation, but if the delay exceeds 30 days you may terminate the agreement and we will refund the full amount. We deliver to the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

6. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days after receipt of your order (for an order in several shipments: after receipt of the last one) to change your mind. Within that period you can cancel the agreement without giving a reason. Let us know via the Returns page, with the model form in our returns policy or with another clear message by email. You send the product back within 14 days of your notice to the address we give you; the cost of sending it back is yours. You may try the product on as you would in a shop; if its value is reduced by further use, we may deduct that. We refund the purchase price, plus the standard shipping costs if you return the whole order, within 14 days of your notice via the same payment method. We may wait with the refund until we have received the product.

7. Conformity and warranty

You are entitled to a product that conforms to the agreement. If the product is damaged, misprinted or not what you ordered, please let us know as soon as possible with a photo, and no later than 2 months after you discover the defect. Please report transport damage within 3 working days, with a photo of the packaging. We will send a free replacement or refund you. Normal colour differences between screen and print, and the natural behaviour of cotton (slight shrinkage when washed), are not covered.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned, except in the case of intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect damage.

9. Intellectual property

The designs, texts and images on this website are owned by Trace of Faith or used with permission. Our designs use general religious symbols and rights-free renderings of texts. Do you find something that infringes your rights? Email us; we respond within 5 working days.

10. Complaints and disputes

Submit complaints via info@trace-of-faith.nl or the contact form. We reply within 24 hours on working days. Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in Belgium or Luxembourg, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country. If we cannot resolve it together, you can go to the competent court or a recognised dispute resolution body in your country, in Belgium for example the Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst).

11. Changes

We may change these terms. For orders in progress, the terms at the time of ordering apply.
